About FOSTEP Kenya

Food Science and Technology Platform of Kenya (FOSTEP Kenya)

Food Science and Technology Platform of Kenya is a registered body comprising of young professionals working in food and nutrition related industry/institutions. Its formation followed the Agreement arrived at after long deliberations in food safety workshop held on 20th August 2010 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The association is anchored in five major pillars/objectives namely:

Encouraging adoption of new technologies
Advocacy with policy makers, private sector included
Linkages: creating network of professionals in the related field
Capacity building: encourage personal growth
Mentorship: whether formal or informal is required to steer development

Membership Registration

To register as a member takes less than 5 minutes. You only need to have been trained or in the process of being trained as food science and technologist/nutritionist, or you work in food industry or any related sector. Then fill the registration form, deposit the registration money and send your slip as indicated on the form. You will receive acknowledgement within 3 working days.
